While we’ve grown accustomed to EXIT lighting up Belgrade with its No Sleep weekends across dozens of venues, this year, all the energy of the No Sleep community will focus on a single location and night.
On November 11, electronic music aficionados from across the region will gather at the Port of Belgrade to welcome the leading global DJ duo ARTBAT! This will mark the artists’ first performance in front of a regional audience since their epic closing set at EXIT festival two years ago, where they kept everyone dancing until 9 a.m.
More thrilling acts for the massive Belgrade No Sleep party will be announced soon, with tickets going on sale tomorrow at noon sharp, via No Sleep website. An initial, limited batch of regular tickets will be available at the special price of 1,590 RSD, while the first VIP tickets will cost 2,790 RSD – nearly half off compared to the final price.
This year, No Sleep platform, built on the relentless energy of ravers, features a show headlined by the brilliant producer duo of Artur and Batish. Together, they form the powerful ARTBAT. Their meteoric rise to the top of the global scene followed a seemingly simple formula – a new hit every month! They quickly achieved headliner status at festivals worldwide, managing to infiltrate charts while staying true to their roots in psytrance, techno, and progressive house.
As part of the spectacular Cercle sessions, their iconic set overlooking Rio de Janeiro took the global scene by storm, exclusively featuring their tracks, each more influential than the last. Mixmag hailed them as “Stars of the Year,” and they routinely secure the title of Bestselling Artists on the Beatport platform, as affirmed last year with mega-hits like “Age Of Love“ (Rave Remix), “Horizon,“ and “The Best Of Me“ (feat. Sailor & I). Their latest hit single, “Coming Home,“ features John Martin, remembered by many for the iconic track “Don’t You Worry Child,” popularized by the Swedish House Mafia.
Though they began their journey producing hits for labels like Afterlife and Solomun’s Diynamic, since 2021, they’ve been releasing music under their label, UPPERGROUND. Currently, the mesmerizing single “Artefakt” is making waves. Known for their deep grooves and compelling vocals, they skillfully remix and transform tracks into masterpieces. Among them are “Returning to Oz“ (Monolink), “Keep Control“ (Sono), “What Else Is There?“ (Royksöpp), and “All That Matters“ (Kölsch). The song often hailed as a turning point in their career is “Mandrake,“ frequently spun by Richie Hawtin in his sets. Their collaborations with WhoMadeWho and Camelphat have produced season-long Ibiza hits like “Closer” and “For A Feeling,” which many found solace in during the challenging times of pandemic lockdowns. On tour, they often debut new, unreleased gems, and undoubtedly, clips from Belgrade will circle the globe as fans scramble to ID the tracks worldwide.
